Castell Coch on a sunny spring day
Wales
Castell Coch, the Red Keep, in Tongwynlais (near Taff's Well) just on the outskirts of Cardiff, on a lovely late spring afternoon. This fairy tale castle is one of the follies of one of the Lords Bute. I seem to recall it was built as a romantic gesture for his wife, on the site where there had once been a real (defensive) castle.
