Cijin Fishing Port was initially a timber reservoir used for the storage of imported logs.Redeveloped by the Kaohsiung City Government, the fishing port now has a weekend fish market with parking facilities.Furthermore, the Kaohsiung City Marine Bureau has hosted numerous activities here, such as the Mackerel Pike tasting event and Kaohsiung’s winter Toro tour, all of which have received tremendous response from residents and visitors.The seafood center next to the port will be presented in a new look as it will be under new management soon.
