This is the only place the lake is accessible. There is an ~1mi hike down the crater rim, though they say it's more like 10 miles back up. In this image you can see the latrines (nice to have latrines 1mi down in a volcano crater). In the other direction you can see the dock where the lake tours embark.
Crater Lake is a snow melt filled volcano crater in south central Oregon, USA. The water is very pure and awsomely blue. It is the deepest Lake in the USA at 1946 feet.
