The Warner Mountains is one of the best places in California where light pollution is absent. Here at Homestead Flat, a high valley over 7,000 feet up, conditions for the night sky were ideal. There was open range cattle grazing within the sagebrush plain as the Milky Way Galaxy shown brightly, along w/ open star clusters, the Andromeda & Triangulum Galaxies. I don't have the best lens for the night sky, but this one sufficed for the job.
