Holes of Risby Warren
England
One of a number of large mysterious circular holes found on Risby Warren, to the North East of Scunthorpe. Are these evidence of Monster Rabbits, or even Giant Sand Worms (see Dune, Tremors, Beetlejuice)? This is the site of underground ironstone mines, lesser known than the opencast mines in the area which served the Scunthorpe Steel Works. The holes have appeared where the mines have collapsed, causing the area to closed off for public safety concerns. But I was able to safely explore via unmanned camera drone.
