Sad to see the Scot Hotel being ripped up peice by piece but one thing is for sure - the new view is beautiful. I hope the new development preserves some of the shape of the mountain that the Scot Hotel has been blocking as you look up the mountain from Hirafu Village.

I feel sorry for all of the people who lost jobs when the Scot closed but i think the new development should also create alot of jobs and opportunity for alot of people living in the area.
