Located in the Colombian Places, between the walls of this monastery was forged the epic journey of Christopher Columbus to the New World.
From this Franciscan convent we can see the estuary where the Tinto and Odiel rivers flow, the starting point of the three caravels. Ten minutes from there, on foot, you will arrive at Puerto de las Carabelas, where you can see some replicas of the originals.
Surrounded by gardens and wooded areas, it is a peaceful place to stroll, rest and live history. Highly recommend.
