Noonday Mine Ore Bin and Chute
California
Lead-Silver-Zine mine discovered around 1875 and worked to the 1940s. This is one of several ore bins in the area, but it is the only one that used a cable track way to move the ore from the adit above to waiting narrow gauge rail cars below, which then took the ore to the mill to be processed.
