Norwegen - Lodalen, by the Lovatnet lake
Norway

Private toll road in Lodalen. Lodalen is the place where 1905 and 1936 two big natural disasters took place: giant boulders have broken off Ramnefjell mountain and fallen into the Lovatnet lake, creating tidal waves that destroyed the villages of Nesdal and Bødal. 135 people lost their lives. The road leads also to the Kjendalsbreen, the lowest glacier arm of the huge Jostedal glacier.
