Vallda Church was built in 1200. The medieval stone church was probably very unlike the current one. In 1662 the portal that led to the altar was removed and an additional 10 meters was added to the length of the church. The tower was finished in 1770. The baptizing bowl is the oldest item in the church and is dated back to 1200 (creator unknown). The altar painting by Joel Mila is from 1982, the original painting is still in place behind.
