Linhai Industrial Park is located across Siaogang District and Cianjhen District.The east of the Park is bounded by Kaohsiung County, and the west of the Park is ten kilometers from the downtown.Also, the Park’s south side is closely connected to the Port of Kaohsiung, with Kaohsiung International Airport in its north in a distance of 500 meters, and about 3 kilometers away from the Freeway interchange.

The Park was established in 1960, and its range reached 1582 hectares.Furthermore, it used to be the largest comprehensive industrial park in Taiwan.With the 30000 jobs it provided, the Industrial Park contributed a great proportion to Taiwan’s economy.However, due to the development of the heavy industry, the living quality of Kaohsiung citizens was also worsened.
