At the top of precipitous Vernal Fall, Emerald Pool is a great area to enjoy a well-deserved lunch after climbing up via the Mist Trail. It affords great views up to Liberty Cap, Mt. Broderick, as well as the potential next stop on a hike up to Nevada Fall.
