The Century Canyon, located in Namasia Township, is the first successfully conserved river, seeing a wide variety of freshwater fish. The ravine terrain is dotted with boulders, deep pools, and waterfalls, surrounded by steep cliffs, contributing to its magnificent landscape. The canyon is also an ideal spot for stream tracing. The entrance is located at Bridge No. 15 within Minzu Village. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the converge point of Laoren Stream and the entire trip straight to canyon bottom takes about 5 hours. To enjoy the fun of adventurous stream streaming, visitors must apply for Class A Permit to Entering Mountains from Namasia. Visitors should be fully equipped with stream tracing tools and beware of tide rise after rain.
