Welcome to l'Escapade Island Resort located on Ilot Maitre in New Caledonia's World Heritage Site Coral Reef Lagoon. Ilot Maitre is a special marine reserve that includes a small lagoon island surrounded by a white sand beach, healthy coral reefs, and turquoise lagoon waters.
The four star resort has air conditioned overwater and garden bungalows, a gourmet restaurant and two bars surrounding a waterfall-swimming pool, and a nautical centre with a range of water sports equipment. Access to the resort is via a 25 minute trip over the calm lagoon in the resort's 58 passenger air-conditioned ferry that operates from downtown Noumea.
