Die Gemeinde Seckach liegt am Übergang von Odenwald und Bauland zwischen Adelsheim und Buchen. Das Gemeindegebiet liegt im Naturpark Neckartal-Odenwald und wird von der namensgebenden Seckach durchquert, einem Zufluss der Jagst.
