This view shows an overhanging vertical couloir below "Full House Peak" in the Ruby Mountains near Lamoille, Nevada.  This was taken from the descent of the peak itself where one follows a ridge with an impressive escarpment.  From this vantage I startled three himalayan snowcocks (an introduced ptarmigan-sized bird to the region for hunting) that took off & dove across the valley towards Thomas Peak.
