Guan Gong
Guangdong Province

The statue and shrine of Guan Gong on the hill overlooking Guantancun, Panyu, Guangzhou, China. Guan Gong was a General who lived in China during the Three Kingdoms period, 220-280AD. Well known for this integrity, and bravery, he was respected for his loyalty and righteousness. Chinese Buddhists regard him as Sangharama Bodhisattva. There are many other statues and shrines to Guan Gong, or as he is also called, Guan Yu in China and a few other parts of Asia.

Guangdong Province, referred to as "Yue ", the provincial capital Guangzhou, the jurisdiction of cities in 21 provinces, including two deputy provincial cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen), prefecture-level cities 19.
