A bird's eye view above the crowds at Hangingditch wine merchant's Winefair Eight, inside the mediaeval splendour of Manchester Cathedral. Outside there was a reminder that winter had arrived in the city, but inside was a gloriously warm and convival atmosphere. All around was a glorious array of wine, spirits and beers to taste and learn about from the producers and distributors, plus food and an art gallery too.
