Better known as Cape House, Solar Sande e Castro located in the village of São João da Pesqueira, is a magnificent Palacete with a Joanine Coat of Arms considered one of the best typical examples of the richest manor buildings in the Douro, post-Pombaline. Designed by Nicolau Nasoni, the building consists of a long main façade. This manor house belonged to the most illustrious family of the time, the Sande e Castro family, who owned several farms in the Douro. Later it also belonged to the Marquis of Soveral. Currently, it belongs to the City Council and is home to the Palace of Justice of São João da Pesqueira.

Mais conhecido por Casa do Cabo, o Solar Sande e Castro situado na vila de São João da Pesqueira, é um magnífico Palacete de Brasão Joanino considerado um dos melhores exemplares típico das mais ricas construções senhoriais do Douro, pós Pombalino. Delineado por Nicolau Nasoni, o edifício é constituído por uma longa fachada principal. Este solar pertenceu à família mais ilustre da época, a família Sande e Castro, detentora de várias quintas no Douro. Mais tarde pertenceu, também, ao Marquês de Soveral. Presentemente, pertence à Câmara Municipal é a sede do Palácio da Justiça de São João da Pesqueira.
