On our stay in Bali, we hired a scooter and took it up to the volcano. Stopped at a place that was free of tourists and hastling locals to take this photo. I was much nicer to be able to appreciate the scenery without having somone trying to sell you some overpriced trinket.

Behind the starting point, away from the volcano, you will see that there is a place to sit and eat lunch, which is exactly what we did. The road was not so buy here too.
