LVR-Archeological Park Xanten - Grain mills and oven
Germany

A replica of the city's layout and the construction and reconstruction of some buildings, the size and the Roman tries to make life fresh experience. The grain mill and the oven were modeled after the original templates. The 73 hectares and 10,000 inhabitants comprehensive Ulpia Colonia Traiana, was built on the ruins of the park, was one of the central cities of the province of Lower Germany and was almost completely destroyed by 275 Swiss francs. The residents subsequently erected in the area of Colonia, with the settlement, "Tricensimae" the most important fortifications on the Lower Rhine, at the beginning of the 5th Century took the raids by Germanic tribes, however, to such an extent that the settlement was finally abandoned.
