This panoramic was taken on the south side of Mirror Lake located in Lake Placid, New York in the early morning of August 28th, 2016. The lake is off limits to gas powered boats, which makes it ideal for stand-up-paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and canoeing. The 2.7-mile road around the perimeter of the lake has a nice sidewalk to trek around the lake on foot. Most mornings, many people are out on it exercising with family and friends. The town is cozy with many shops, restaurants and hotels. Off in the distance, many mountains surrounding the lake are visible, including the 4,865′ Whiteface Mt.
