Monteriggioni is a small town on top of a hill surrounded by a medieval wall. The main place (Piazza Roma) is surrounded by some restaurants and bars as well as an old, small gothic church. The town doesn´t allow for any cars, but parking ($) is available right in front of the main medieval gate.

The regional capital is Florence and the other provinces are: Arezzo, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena.
