Mesa, Arizona's Park of the Canals is a little known desert garden spot in the greater Salt River Valley. The Park is home to one of the few remaining original ancient Hohokam canals in the Southwest. In the Spring the Palo Verde trees bloom with a gentle yellow to contrast with the harsh sun of the desert.
