Siena, Piazza Salimbeni, Oldest Bank in the World - Banca Monte Dei Paschi - and Statue of Sallustio Bandini
Tuscany

The Renaissance palazzo at the head of the piazza is Palazzo Salimbeni, home of the oldest bank that is still active, the Banca Monte Dei Paschi that was founded in 1472. The statue in the middle of the piazza depicts Sallustio Bandini, author of "Discorso sopra la Maremma di Siena".

The Tuscany, one of the most beautiful Italian regions, is known throughout the world for its Landscapes and for the Works of Art that it houses (It is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance).
