This is what is left of St. James Priory which was built in the 1150s at the wishes of the Baron of Dudley and owner of Dudley Castle at the time, Gervase Paganell. The ruins are very well preserved & eye catching, you can really get a feel of history & 12th century life would have been like in the west midlands at the time.
Images are captured on a dark and overacted day with little signs of people.
