Tallulah Falls Gorge
Georgia, USA

Tallulah Falls Gorge, Tallulah, Georgia 2005. Once called the "Niagra of the South" before the dam was created to provide hydroelectric power, the gorge still provides impressive views via many of its overlooks and trails. Nearby there are several good restaurants and attactions making this a great day adventure. Karl Wallenda, a tightrope artist walked across this ravine in 1970 in front of an estimated 30,000 people.
