The resort and camping area Sorowöpo (Also Soroape and Soruapé) is located in the Gran Sabana, about six kilometers from the town of San Francisco de Yuruaní. It is a place frequented by tourists, because it has all the necessary services for their proper care.
Here the Soroape river and rock formations of the area make lakes and ponds of still waters to relax or to take a bath under any of its countless waterfalls and natural spas.
Additionally, a few minutes walking from camp you can get to a place where the bright red jasper results in a natural chute where you can slide a long distance until the end on a pool of very fine sand.
