兵庫県神崎郡市川町の稲荷山(標高433m)山頂にある鶴居山(稲荷山)城の本丸跡南端で撮影したパノラマ写真です。
地元の方が山頂周辺の木々を伐採したため、360度の展望が得られる気持ちの良い山頂で、空気が澄んでいれば、東に六甲山塊や明石海峡大橋を肉眼で望むことも出来ます。(パノラマ撮影時も明石海峡大橋がはっきり見えていましたが、写真では分かりません)
1560年頃に戦で焼失・落城し、廃城となったそうです。
山頂周辺に残る石積みの跡や多数の削平地が、それなりの規模の山城があったことを示していますし、地元の方によると、昔は城跡を掘ると米(当時の兵糧か?)が出てきたとのことです。
