Gustav Mahler composers cottage
South Tyrol (Bolzano-Bozen)

From 1908 to 1910 the composer Gustav Mahler and his wife Alma spent the summer months in Toblach, Italy.

In this cottage close to their guest house Gustav Mahler composed the "song of the earth", the 9th symphony, and parts of the 10th symphony.
