The William B. Ide Adobe is located along the Sacramento River near Red Bluff, California.  The adobe was built in 1852 however it was never owned or lived-in by Ide himself, the park instead was named in his honor as he was the only president of the California Republic in 1846.  Here the abode is being reinforced following damage from a large oak tree (the trunk I stood on for this panorama), which lost nearly all its limbs in 2014 as it was fully cut down in 2016.  It was estimated at 350-400 years of age.
