Contemporary Jewish Museum on Jessie Street
San Francisco
This museum occupies the elegant 1907 Jessie Street Power Substation, designed by Willis Polk. Formerly hidden in a dark alley of run-down buildings, it now looks across a plaza to Yerba Buena Gardens. St Patricks Catholic Church to the right.
