We visited Appenzell on a nice and sunny day in autumn.

Here on the Landsgemeindeplatz, citizen of the Canton Appenzell Innerrhoden meet at the forth sunday in April for the Landsgemeinde or "cantonal assembly" . It is the oldest form of direct democracy.
