The Inka ruins "Llactapata" are by far not as well known as its close neighbor Machu Picchu. The site is not as big and maybe not as impressive. But the remoteness and wildness makes it a magical place. The vast majority of these Inka ruins are still covered in the dense forest. The one on this panorama has been cleared and restored and allows a fantastic view over the valleys below, the forrested mountains and closeby Machu Picchu during daytime.
