Traditional Asturian Market in Porrua In 1995 a group of Porrua inhabitants, members of a cultural association called Llacin, started celebrating a traditionnal market on the fourth weekend of August. The project included wearing old times garments and showing what a Middle Age Marketplace could look like. So, apart from buying goods, you can actually see craftsmen and women making all kind of goods in a way only a very few ones can do them nowadays. At the same time pipers, musicians, dancers and artists of every kind perform in the circular arena that hosts the event.
