Here is a towering monument to the great operatic tenor, People's Artist of the USSR Anatoly Solovyanenko, who was born in Donetsk.

The monument was erected in 2002. Artist depicts a full-length, dressed in a concert suit the Duke of Verdi's "Rigoletto." The sculpture stands on a round pedestal round, based on cylinders which, in turn, represent the theatrical columns. Statue covered with gold leaf.
