This was the highest point i made it to on this day.

My friends hiked up for another 45 mins from here and skied down the big open face on the right side as you are looking up.

The conditions were great - pretty much bottomless powder but there were a few ice chunks just under the surface.

I just got a new carbon tripod so my days of lugging my big old heavy tripod are over..
