The construction of Nanhai Zihjhu Temple took a decade, from 1967 to 1976. It is a Taoist temple that is primarily dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy and also worships Miaogong Jhuangjhu as well as the Earth God. Occupying an area of 5.32 hectares, the temple is located at the center of Neimen with a floating lotus-shaped landform.
