De Nieuwe Kerk in de stad Groningen. In 1660 is begonnen met de bouw van de kerk op het Nieuwe Kerkhof, wat al een begraafplaats waar de pestdoden werden begraven (toen nog buiten de stad). De Nieuwe Kerk is gebouwd naar voorbeeld van de Noorderkerk in Amsterdam en was de eerste kerk in Groningen voor de Protestantse eredienst.
