San Salvatore
Sardinia
Many films called Spaghetti Westerns were shot in and around the town San Salvatore di Cabras, a small Sardinia village outside of Cabras near Oristano. The buildings are called "cumbessias" and are pretty much abandoned except the San Salvatore celebrations once a year. They were transformed in the 1960's into wild west towns for movies. There's even a cowboy bar.
