Spring Day at Sandbanks Provincial Park
Canada

Located in Prince Edward County approximately two hours' drive east of Toronto, Sandbanks (Provincial Park) is considered by many to be the best beach in Ontario.

The main beach lies protected in a bay and is very shallow. As a result the waters of Lake Ontario, generally cool, warm up quickly here as days get warmer in spring. Even in (late) May, it did not feel uncomfortable to wade for a few minutes through the water. 

Soon the big crowds will be back for the summer. Given the amazing beauty of the place it's easy to understand why.
