Te Matau a Pohe- Whangarei's new Bridge.
Politicans and Dignatories make speeches, people wait for the main celebrations to begin.
This bridge was designed by English firm Knight Architects, and while small by many they have been responsible for, they stated that it has been one of the most interesting- will Whangarei become known as the City of Bridges?

Auckland is the commercial capital of New Zealand but anything to the North can be considered "Northland". Preferred destination for tourists and workers alike when surf, sand, diving and fishing is involved. It has a solid rural base of Dary, Beef and Sheep as well as horticulture and wineyards. Whangarei is the regional city on the way up to Cape Reinga at the northernmost tip of the island.
