The Ness of Brodgar is the strip of land seperating the Stenness and Harray Lochs. The Ring of Brodgar is just to the north of the location of this panorama and just a few hundred meters to the east of here there is an excavation which has been going on for a number of summers trying to learn more about the area in neolithic times.
