Auckland's wintergarden provides a restful walk for its visitors, and the pond gives enjoyment to children either racing around it or looking at the fish swimming in and out of the shadow of the aquatic plants.

It is also a favourite spot for photography, either tourist or special events such as weddings where the backdrop provides a colouful foil  to any occasion
