Gigapixel view from the summit of Pt. 7122 (elev. 7,122') in the Marble Mountain Wilderness west of Etna, California. The peak is relatively unknown & not often sought after. Here in the winter it was a bit of an arduous climb over but the 360 degree view was worth it. Here one can see glistening silver snowy peaks in all directions, from the Russian Peak Wilderness & Trinity Alps to the south to the English Peak area west to the Marble Mountains core to the north & the Etna Summit area to the east. Distant views of Goosenest & Mt. Shasta are also prevalent. As you can see, forest fires have left plenty of scars on the mountains leaving many peaks barren & overgrown w/ manzanita when dry. After this, I pushed myself to traverse over to Yellow Dog Peak, which also had similar views.
