Lake Brunner, on the west coast of South Island is a mecca for fishermen with trout almost waiting to be caught. The beauty of the area is elusive though, with frequent cloud and rain. Patience is rewarded when the sun emerges.
The wire suspension bridge connects the west shore with the main part of Moana, plus it is the entry to the reserve and an easy 20 minute walk through native forest.
