Halle - 1890 - Architecte : J. J. Valleton - Pierre et brique - 1, place de la cathédrale
Cette halle remplace celle édifiée en 1485, sous le règne de Charles VIII. Le bâtiment étant jugé en si mauvais état qu'il présente un danger public, le maire T. Servière, réélu en 1884, prévoit sa reconstruction dans son programme électoral. Les plan sont dressés par l'architecte Valleton qui utilise des claustras dans les parties hautes des murs afin d'éclairer la halle qui est enserrée entre les bâtiments voisins. La véritable façade de l'édifice est orientée au sud, face à l'hôtel de ville, tandis que la façade nord est accolée au présidial, reconstruit en 1730 sur la place de la cathédrale.
