Alphen aan den Rijn old council house.

One of two panoramas to show what the Pentax da 10-17mm f3.5 - 4.5 can do after being modified. This lens mod turns a full frame fish-eye lens for aps-c sensor cameras into (almost) a circular fish-eye for full frame sensor cameras. The lens mod is explained by Mr. Florian Knorn in the following video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2e_X2p3IX4

Where at first 8 photos were needed including zenith and nadir, now only a horizontal row of 4 photos are required to cover the full 360º sphere. This drastically decreases the required time to shoot a pano but at the expense of resolution. However this being a fish-eye zoom one can zoom in to 15mm and get the resolution back if it were required. Also less images means less potential stitch errors. Excellent stuff!

In this panorama I didn't edit the tripod out to show what was left after the pano was shot. I didn't reduce the footprint by closing the legs of the tripod together more. Doing so would leave the legs invisible and leave only a very small portion to edit out. In the 2nd pano I did so.

I would like to extend my gratitude to mr. Florian Knorn for his excellent and free youtube tutorials on vr panoramas and last but not least my friend and highly skilled mechanical worker Kees Vogel for modding the lens for me.
