Alcañiz Castle is one of the most complex of Aragon, by his organization mixed convent-palace, its dimensions and grades mix of architectural styles it presents. Situated on a hill, from which it dominates the population, the grounds of the fortress has a trapezoidal shape that reflects the heterogeneous group. This is clearly differentiated into two zones: the North, where the medieval buildings are crowded, and the South, with the baroque palace of the Commanders of strong civil structure.
