Der Rockstroh-Dom in der Dunkelklamm
Salzburg

Die Seisenbergklamm bei Weißbach wurde 1831 erstmals durch Holzknechte begehbar gemacht. Aus diese Zeit  stammen die beiden Wappen im Rockstroh-Dom: Links das Wappen von König Ludwig dem Bayern, rechts das Wappen des österreichischen Kaisers Franz Josef mit dem Doppeladler. Das bayerische Wappen weist auf die Salinenkonvention hin.

1916 zerstörte ein Hochwasser die Steiganlagen durch die Klamm völlig. Erst 1925 konnte die Klamm vom Deutschen und Österreichischen Touristenklub, Sektion Dresden, wieder instand gesetzt werden. An den Förderer Johannes Rockstroh erinnert eine Tafel.

Heute ist die Klamm ein Naturdenkmal des Landes Salzburg.
